colleagues of diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds, providing safe spaces,
raising awareness, and discussing topical issues with allies, providing subject
matter expertise to the business, and challenging and supporting the business in
accelerating meeting its ambitions to be more inclusive and diverse. This
network has also used powerful reverse mentoring partnerships to help raise
awareness of senior leaders of some of the challenges and structural barriers in
existence societally.

To address the underrepresentation of Black individuals in leadership positions,
the company has established targeted programs and collaborated with external
programmes such as Diversity in Retail initiatives aimed at promoting career
growth and development. By actively seeking to eliminate barriers to
advancement, Kingfisher PLC is paving the way for aspiring Black professionals
to excel and ascend to leadership roles.
