BYP Network is the partner of choice for hundreds of organisations looking to genuinely diversify their talent pools by tapping into the Black professional community. With 150K members, 50+ events a year and hundreds of mentorship opportunities, we are the place to go for all things Black professional. Through our products and services, we enable companies to enhance their brand as an employee of choice to the Black community and hire from a talent pool that has previously been difficult to reach.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sourcing new clients who are interested in attracting, retaining and engaging with black talent.
- Contacting prospective customers and speaking with heads of talent acquisition, HR, Employer Branding and D&I leads.
- Building a strong, in-depth knowledge of the BYP Network Job Board, Branding & Engagement services, Black Experience Course and Mentorship program.
- Communicate the BYP value proposition to a wide range of companies across multiple sectors
- Convert inbound leads through cold-calling, email marketing and meetings to paying clients.
- Consistently achieving and outperforming monthly targets.
The Ideal Candidate
- Sales experience: 4 years (Required)
- Experience of working within a new business sales role (2+ years experience)
- Negotiating and influencing skills with clients at all levels.
- Good track record in billing (candidates who can provide proof of commission earned to date at interview will be favoured)
- Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
- Passion for selling and motivated by achieving results.
- Confident and professional telephone manner and ability to build rapport.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be positive and driven individual, with the tenacity and target-driven attitude of a successful sales person.
