BYP Network is proud to announce that its CEO and Founder, Kike Oniwinde Agoro, will be a key speaker at Forbes’ upcoming cross-generational women’s 30/50 Summit.
She will join some of the world’s most powerful women on the stage in Abu Dhabi during March 7-10, including Hillary Clinton, Malala Yousafzai, Jessica Alba, Catherine O’Hara, Misty Copeland and Ayesha Curry.
This will be the second ever 30/50 Summit, a global event gathering women from the world’s most influential list of young leaders, the Forbes “30 Under 30” list, and its newer “50 Under 50” list, to share their accomplishments, experiences and insights on leadership.
Kike was awarded the coveted 30 Under 30 prize in 2019, as an acknowledgement in the Technology space of the achievements and innovation of BYP Network, an online platform for empowering Black professionals and allies.
The summit will be a powerful catalyst for change, bringing together global leaders and Forbes honorees in the United Arab Emirates’ vibrant capital and knowledge economy, with the mission of forming world-changing alliances and progressing gender equality. It will act as a physical headquarters for International Women’s Day (IWD), where women leaders can build together and pay it forward to future generations.
The talk topics
Kike’s talk will take place on the morning of IWD itself (March 8) — a conversation around ‘Creating a Conscious Culture’, together with Francine Katsoudas, EVP and Chief People, Policy and Purpose Officer at Cisco, and moderated by Mika Brzezinski, founder of Know Your Value, co-host of ‘Morning Joe’, and Forbes 30/50 Summit Chair. Together, this 30/50 pairing will discuss the actions they are taking to protect a company’s most important asset: their employees.
Kike will be providing impactful takeaways around why she founded BYP Network, the opportunities she identified, how BYP has delivered on that original mission, and what larger corporations are missing when it comes to engaging and/or recruiting Black employees.
She will also share BYP’s growth vision for 2023, which includes expansion into the US with BYP’s own NYC Leadership Summit, sponsored by Capco, and Atlanta Leadership Summit, sponsored by Cisco Meraki, both taking place in May.
Register your interest now for the events. The summits will take inspiration from BYP’s flagship ‘Knowledge is Power’ conference held in London in October (UK Black History Month), that welcomed over 1000 online and 700 in-person attendees.
Kike will further reveal an exciting new career advancement platform that BYP is developing as an enhancement to its services, that will connect Black professionals to personalised opportunities based on their career goals and help corporate partners to match with candidates from a pool of ambitious talent.
Mika Brzezinski said of the inaugural 30/50 Summit in 2022, “Over the years, Forbes created a global community with thousands of innovators, gamechangers and rulebreakers around the world through its 30 Under 30 list. By merging the two communities, we’re in a unique position to activate a worldwide, multigenerational community of leaders who can bring about meaningful change that benefits women everywhere.”
The important lessons from the talks will be shared on the Forbes platforms, MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe’, and others, to empower women across the world.
