BYP Network is proud to have a longstanding partnership with cloud-managed IT company Cisco. Recent events have reminded us of the value of women leaders who unapologetically take action and collaborate to move corporate cultures further.
Our Founder and CEO, Kike Oniwinde Agoro spoke at Forbes’ women’s 30/50 summit discussion on International Women’s Day 2023. The talk was led by Cisco Meraki Executive Vice President and Chief People, Policy & Purpose Officer, Francine Katsoudas, and together they contributed to an honest conversation addressing their careers, achievements, and challenges.
During their candid conversation, Kike describes feeling “othered” early in her career, noting the lack of mentorship and sponsorship that Black professionals face.
As a world leader in technology, Cisco isn’t afraid to dive deep to understand and improve the systems that hold Black professionals back. From strategic recruitment to workshops, they are fully committed to investing in diverse talent, working with BYP for three years to expand their teams. For instance BYP’s Interim Chief Growth Officer, Phin Mpofu, is speaking at Cisco Meraki’s Connected Black Professional session “From Applicant to Hire” on March 23, offering insights into crafting an effective CV.
Cisco are also the proud headline sponsor of our upcoming Leadership Summit in Atlanta, taking place on May 23. Register your interest now to find out more exclusive details.
