Emma Ashby – Director of Recruitment for EMEA
Emma joined BNY Mellon in 2020 with over 20 years industry expertise working for HSBC, Barclays and Deloitte. She has a strong understanding of networking and business development capabilities, which have allowed her to develop relationships across the globe with experience operating in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia & UK. Emma brings a wealth of ‘personal brand’ knowledge to the panel and we are so looking forward to having her share this with BYP.

Joseph Boateng – Senior Analyst, FX Platform Sales EMEA
Joseph joined BNY Mellon in July 2022 as a Senior Analyst in FX Platform Sales EMEA, from Royal Bank of Canada, where he held various roles in the Graduate Rotation Program in the Investor & Treasury Services Division. Joseph has previous experience in Securities Finance, FX Product and coordinating projects; he is currently working to support and drive the FX Sales pipeline. Joseph holds a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Warwick.

Paula Imafidon – Lead Analyst, Solution Consulting
Paula joined BNY Mellon as an Infrastructure Engineer on the Technology graduate scheme and later joined Data and Platform Solutions (DPS), Asset Servicing & Digital as a Consultant. Paula has worked on the Data Management and Data Delivery Implementation of our in-house products. She has also been involved in Solution Design & Discovery projects for prospective clients, most recently working on the Data Architecture Solutioning for a key EMEA client. Outside her role, she is passionate about encouraging more young people from disadvantaged backgrounds into tech and finance roles, helping to increase diversity & inclusion.

Babajide Ogunlana-Neale (Jide) – Director: Product – Private Markets
Jide joined the BNY Mellon Product Organisation within the Alternative Investment Services business in September of 2022.
Prior to joining the organisation Jide worked at Apollo Global Management as a Director in Private Equity and Credit Technology and lead the Private Equity & Real Estate Product Management teams at MUFG Investor Services and State Street. Jide has extensive experience in steering transformation projects, scoping & developing TOMs, developing new service lines across Fund Accounting, Data Strategy & Transfer Agency, Solutions Architecture and managing vendors.

Jemima Banks – Markets and Wealth Services Analyst
Jemima graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in Economics and Politics in July and has now joined the Liquidity and Margin Services team on the MWS graduate scheme. This is her 17th job – from superyacht stewardess to Head of Strategic Relations for a Social Investment fund, 9 hospitality jobs and various internships along the way – she has experience working with all kinds of people and for all kinds of managers. Since joining BNY Mellon she has continued to be interested in the world and areas of momentum – particularly biodiversity and digital assets and has developed an analyst training programme to give high school students from disadvantaged backgrounds the confidence to apply for apprenticeship schemes in Finance.
