Meet the Speakers

Manjot is Head of FS sales strategy and analytics at Tilney Smith & Williamson where he support the FS management team in the delivery of its financial objectives. He works with senior management to provide strategic direction to manage growth, drive commercial initiatives and execute the strategic vision for the financial services department. He previously worked within the business development team at Smith & Williamson, where he worked across the private client and charities divisions assisting in new client acquisition and client retention. He joined the Smith & Williamson in 2015 from Euromoney Institutional Investor where he developed their client insights team and graduated from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) with a degree in Law.

Farhan is a Trainee Investment Manager at Tilney Smith & Williamson, currently pursuing the Chartered Wealth Management qualification after he attained his CISI IAD qualification in January of this year.
Farhan holds a Bachelor of Science-BSc degree in Investment and Financial Risk Management, with an Industrial Placement Year from Cass Business School.
Prior to joining the Trainee Investment Management programme at Tilney Smith & Williamson in September 2021, Farhan worked as the Team Treasurer for the American Football team at university, and as an Investment and Hedge Fund Research Analyst for AXA Investment Managers during his placement year.

Rebecca is an Investment Director of discretionary portfolios for private clients, trusts, corporates, charities, and pension funds. Rebecca is also a fund manager of the Tilney Insurance Dedicated Fund (IDF) and sits on the Direct Investments Group and Stewardship and Responsible Investment Group.
Rebecca specialises in multi asset portfolio management, for both UK and international mandates – including US connected persons. She was named 2020 Woman of the Year Investment, at the WIFA awards, and named on both the 2021 PAM 40 under 40 and Citywire Wealth Manager Top 100 for 2021.
Rebecca is a CFA Charter holder. She is also a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI) and holds the CISI IAD qualification in securities and derivatives.

Elma is our hands-on early talent recruitment and development manager overseeing all attraction, engagement, and selection processes over the past 2 years. Elma leads the recruitment of school leavers completing or university students looking for a graduate, summer internship or industrial placement.

Simran is Trainee Investment Manager at Tilney Smith & Williamson, having previously been an Events officer while completing a Bachelor of Science – BS degree in Physics at the University of Bristol.
Simran currently volunteers as a Maths mentor for King Edward VI School, Stratford Upon Avon, and a Trustee for AlanMaths, a charity aiming to advance the education of children and young people in the Warwick District Council area by providing Mathematics and Physics private tutoring.
