Meet the Speakers

Navarone Dozier | Assistant Vice President, Cyber Solutions, Aon

Navarone is an Assistant Vice President for Aon’s Cyber Solutions E&O/Cyber Broking team in the East Region. Navarone is responsible for consulting with clients on their Cyber, Professional Liability, Technology and Media risks by identifying exposures, managing insurance market relationships, strategizing, and creating tailored risk transfer solutions, as well as executing on policy terms, conditions and servicing.

Prior to joining Aon, Navarone spent a decade in various risk management and insurance roles, which provided him vast experience in claims management with two of the largest carriers in the U.S., Allstate and Travelers. He then spent four years as the Risk Analyst at The City of Atlanta and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, where he managed a $500M contractual risk transfer program and implemented a financial risk assessment program for the City’s procurement process.

Navarone was a recipient of Insurance Business America’s 2021 Rising Star Award. He is also a co-founder of Atlanta Insurance Coalition for Change (AICC), an insurance focused Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion non-profit organization.

Joseph Washington | Underwriting Manager (US Hospitals) at Beazley

Joseph has over 25 years of experience underwriting medical professional liability insurance. This includes hospitals, miscellaneous medical facilities and long term care facilities. At Beazley, he started and is currently managing the Hospital Professional Liability division for the United States distribution.

Prior to joining Beazley Joseph has worked at AIG, Zurich & Berkshire Hathaway in a variety of underwriting roles including Vice President, Underwriting specialist and underwriting consultant.

Craig Washington | Claims Manager (Environmental), Beazley

Craig Washington is an Environmental Claims Manager on the Enviro team at Beazley. He is experienced handling various Environmental claims including large Spill cleanups, Mold/Legionella remediations, EPA actions and various toxic tort claims. Craig has over 15 years Claims experience managing Professional Liability, General Liability, Commercial property, and auto claims. In addition to his claims responsibilities, he is a member of the RACE at Beazley Network which aims to stress diversity across Beazley in all product lines.
