Speakers

Catherine is a Business Development Manager within KPMG International Development Advisory Services (IDAS) with over 16 years’ experience in undertaking projects in Project Management, Grants Management, cultivating good donor relations and improving the integrity of financial reporting and administration systems. Her professional experience spans across FMCG, Insurance and Project Development (NGOs).
Catherine holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Accounting) and a Master’s in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi. She is a Certified Public Accountant and Project Management Professional.

Phyllis has over 7 years experience working in nonprofits and the startup ecosystem. Phyllis brings a strong background of building institutions from the ground up. In addition she has a background in Communication and Public Relations as well as Organizational Management. She is passionate about young people especially women accessing opportunities and financing and currently runs BY-Peers Nairobi.
