Speakers:
Marianne recently graduated from an LLM specialising in Intellectual Property law and Information Technologies, before joining TikTok. During her Legal studies, she developed an interest in the application of law to online services and wrote her master dissertation on the protection of copyrighted works on social media, in the European Union and the United States. With the aim of growing her experience within the tech industry, Marianne is eager to raise her potential by working for a great cause, protecting the user’s/ author’s rights online.
As a woman with two different cultures, she wants to share with others her multicultural view of the world and help people not to see their colour or culture as a determining characteristic of our ability to work effectively and thrive in the tech industry.
Babatunde has been in the industry of Trust & Safety for just over 3 years with a background in Mathematics, Economics & Insurance. His skills extend to public speaking in both professional and casual settings. This has been instrumental when it comes to data analysis & presentation which is Babatunde’s passion.
Having grown up in both the Netherlands & the UK and collaborated with all kinds of cultures, he is acutely aware of the stark differences between each culture and believes that every workplace should be adaptive to all work cultures.

Adeola is an experienced program management professional with 9 years of post-graduate experience working across the Technology, Non-Profit, Public Service and Renewable Energy Industry leading initiatives that drive opportunities for all, from Education & Online Safety to Infrastructure to supporting Small and Medium Businesses. She is essentially a Technology, Engineering and Policy Enthusiast.
She is also passionate about promoting STEM education for African girls through Afro-Tech Girls, a private Non-profit she started in 2013 with 2 of her friends. Through her various community initiatives and professional experience, she has gained recognition locally and internationally.
