Sidney Wagner

Sidney is responsible for the successful delivery of the end-to-end broker journey for our intermediary partners on the Barclays panel. 

Sidney is a multi-disciplined and innovative leader with over 20 years of financial services experience, holding positions in Customer Network, Regional and Head Office departments. He has an extremely strong and proven track record of delivering sustainable business growth and successfully leading motivated and talented teams through organisational change. His exposure to the many different facets of the organisation has ensured his primary customer and client focus is partnered by an extremely strong strategic awareness.

Michael ShermanMD Customer Strategy and Commercial Delivery

Michael Sherman is the MD of Customer Strategy and Commercial Delivery for Barclays Bank UK, covering all Marketing, Data and Analytics and Complex Programme management. Michael is a sitting member on Barclays Transformation Committee and is the lead for driving the Operating Committee.  

In addition to Michael’s executive role at Barclays, Michael is also a Non-Executive Director on the Board for Ocado Group.  Michael is both an active member of the nominating committee and the audit committee.  Michael also plays a key role in the effort to continue to improve Diversity, Equity and Inclusion within Ocado. Prior to joining Barclays, Michael was on BT Group’s Executive Committee in the role of Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer.  In Michael’s role, he was responsible for developing BT’s Agile transformation programme and lead key strategic decisions for M&A, strategic investments, and business priorities. 

Natalie Ojevah – Eagle Labs Diversity & Inclusion Lead, Business Banking

Natalie leads the banks’ first external programme dedicated to black-led businesses; now having completed its third year, which sees founders go through a 12-week programme with expert-led business strategy masterclasses, all designed to set their business on the road to success, which culminates in a demo day showcase to celebrate at the end of the programme.

Natalie started in business as a start up manager and naturally progressed to become a ‘BBM4’ relationship manager in Croydon. 18 months later she joined the Eagle Labs team as an Ecosystem Manager in one of the London Eagle lab locations, where the ideation of the Black Founders Accelerator was created and delivered, side of desk.
